ZHANG SHIYU

Founder/Producer

I have a strong interest in helping migrant workers know their rights, cultivating a fairer workplace and improve their welfare by integrating them into Singapore society. I have communication skills and designing software for publicity and the network to raise awareness for the community, thus reducing the discrimination face by them.

JENA ONG

Everyone needs kindness. I believe in beating discrimination and fostering integration within and outside of the migrant community. I am skilled in events management and am the overall in charge of organising the tours. I hope to inspire Singaporeans and make a difference in the lives of these migrant workers through the work I do.

CHANG HUI HUI

Director of Operations

I have always wanted to make action work. Have always seen, heard about nasty actions around and remarks made by Singaporeans and felt bad for the migrant workers. Hence, I've decided to take the first step and join this organisation to make Singapore a better place for migrant workers!

JOLENE TAN

Host/Partner

Helping different community groups is my passion and mission in life. I deeply appreciate migrant workers' contribution to Singapore. Friends with Migrants helps us to connect and express our gratitude to them. We have so much more to do for Singaporeans to do likewise.

LIM JIA MIN

Marketing Manager

I am always passionate about marketing relating work and contributing to the society. Even though we may say there is not much discrimination going on in Singapore now due to the politics and regulations set by our government, what happens behind the closed doors are unfair and silence stereotypes towards them. I believe that with my skill I can help to create more awareness on migrant workers' development and hopefully able to close the discrimination gap.

HENG JIA JIA

Head of Logistics

Affable and warm hearted, I aspire to help those with needs! I joined Friends with Migrants with compassion and dedication upon stumbling through articles of their unfortunate experiences working in Singapore. Even when they are faced with challenges, their bubbly and playful nature never fails to make my day. Hence, I strive to improve their job experience in Singapore with my knowledge. In my team, I'm a proactive contributor while bringing every logistics to my team mates.

LOVIE LIU

Social Media Manager

I always believe in youths being the next generation of leaders, to be part of this team is really a dream come true and to be able to make a difference in the lives of others. Public speaking is my jam, it's like having a conversation with many people of different ideas. The thought of migrant workers as a social issue has never crossed my mind but after hearing what my team felt and much research, it breaks my heart knowing that there's a stigma towards them. Every one of us is the same, after all we belong in one big group: The Human Race.
